Introduction

Introducing, the new FlowSmart Control – integrated water meter sensor and valve controller, provided as a kit, with a pulse-counter type water meter and motorized valve.  (A hub is required for full functionality)

 The YoLink FlowSmart Control meter & valve controller is a smart wireless integrated combination water meter sensor and motorized valve controller. This kit includes the meter & valve controller, an inline water meter with pulse-counter output, and a motorized valve. Both the meter and valve are made of ANSI NSF CAN 61-certified stainless steel. 

The meter & valve controller has YoLink s standard LoRa-based wireless technology, that offers extreme long range wireless (up to 1 4 mile open-air) and extreme long battery life (some products offer 10+ years between battery changes). The FlowSmart Control meter & valve controller should provide 2+ years between battery changes (four AA batteries included and preinstalled). 

The meter & valve controller offers multiple power options. Using the included AC-to-12VDC power adapter, plug this in for normal operation on AC power, with battery back-up , or us the adapter, only, or do not use the adapter for standard battery-powered (only) operation.

Each device has a unique identification number and it is individually monitored by the YoLink cloud server, 24 7, continuously

• YoLink’s industry-leading long range communication (up to 1 4 mile, open air!) allows for operation in larger homes and in areas difficult for other wireless systems, such as basements, separate garages structures, and even outside your home

   Add smart control, including remote manual control, schedule control, and automation based on interaction with other smart devices (such as YoLink smart water leak sensors). Additionally, the valve can be controlled by third-party applications like IFTTT, Home Assistant, and Alexa (including voice commands, like Alexa, turn off the water )

  Avoid the expense, inconvenience and mess associated with the installation of non-wireless valve controllers and meters.

  Manage water usage in your home, business, multifamily residence, etc. Monitor activity real time, and view historical data in chart form in the app. Export data in CSV file format, to integrate with other data and or for 3rd-party data visualization applications. 

  Detect potential problems related to water usage, including but not limited to wasteful behaviors, water not being shut-off or shut-off entirely at faucets, etc.

  Water leak detection via way of water meter analysis settings in the app. (YoLink does not recommend the sole use of water meters for water leak detection; spot sensors at likely areas of leaks, combined with smart water meter systems, is ideal.)

  
  Enjoy functionality even during a power outage. Control-D2D paired devices will perform their paired function automatically, without an internet connection, without the app, and without AC power (in the case of battery-powered or battery-backed-up devices – an internet connection is required for full functionality and for the app to work.)
